About the instructor:
Valerie is a self-taught local artist born and raised on an acreage just outside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the infamous Valley Road. Her love of art began at an early age drawing and painting on whatever surface she could find, especially on the walls in her parents’ house. It wasn’t until she was in her early 20s that she began to approach art seriously as a way to relieve stress. Since then, she has studied and worked with various mediums with her main focus being acrylics and alcohol inks. She loves living in Saskatchewan as the amazing seasons we have here inspire her art every day. She feels very fortunate to be able to combine her two loves, art and teaching. She loves to inspire people and help them find their inner Picasso.
