Come to the Glen at Crossmount on January 25th 2018 and celebrate Scottish Heritage on Robbie Burns Day with us. Enjoy a delicious lunch with traditional Scottish dishes. Following the lunch, relax to the beautiful piping and a reading of a Robert Burns Poem, all done by Don Macpherson. People of all ages welcome to come and spend time with us sharing a warm meal, great entertainment, and good company.
11:30 am Doors open.
11:50 am – piping in of the Haggis (Buffet line in the room)
-Reading of the Haggis poem.
12:00 pm – Lunch Buffet with musical entertainment
12:30 pm – Poetry and Piping by Don McPherson
1:00 pm – event ends
-Spinach Salad with Strawberries, red onions and poppyseed dressing.
-Tomato and Green Onion with an oil vinaigrette
-Shephard’s Pie (mutton)
-Neeps (Mashed Turnip)
-Scottish Shortbread for dessert
-Coffee, Tea Station
