The Cure Artisanal Charcuterie was founded in Saskatoon in 2015 by Lorenzo Brazzini. Lorenzo was born and raised in Italy, where he studied to be a chef. As a 3rd generation Italian Butcher, along with his culinary training and experiences cooking around the world, Lorenzo settled in Saskatoon to open a local butcher shop with a focus on charcuterie. Charcuterie is the culinary art of preparing meat products such as bacon, salami, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, ballotines, pâtés, and confit. The Cure uses meat from local suppliers to produce a variety of charcuterie in their butchery in Riversdale, using a traditional Southern European dry-curing process.
In 2020, The Cure partnered with locally owned and operated Taste Hospitality Group ( which is our lovely caterer at The Glen ). You can find The Cure products at many local restaurants, markets, and special events, and book The Cure for catering by contacting email@example.com.
